Donate to the OneAID Community

The US Agency for International Development (USAID) was established in 1961 by President John F. Kennedy to unite foreign assistance organizations and programs under one agency. For more than 60 years, the agency responded to humanitarian crises worldwide and operated missions in more than 100 countries. The Trump administration’s decision to dismantle USAID means people and communities across the world are without life-saving and life-enhancing support, the United States’ role in the world is weakened, and cracks in our own democratic institutions are increasingly exposed. Because of the reckless decision to dismantle USAID, the U.S. and communities across the world will be sicker, poorer, and less secure.

OneAID quickly recognized the need to channel the energy and expertise of humanitarian, peace, and development professionals into coordinated, strategic action. Our community, committed to bringing and restoring democratic values, can leverage its expertise to offer a compelling path forward for restoring, reimagining, and strengthening US international assistance.

We uphold three pillars:

Prioritizing People and Communities’ Well-being,

Advocating for Foreign Assistance, and

Catalyzing Citizen Engagement.

Our mission begins with you.

Through a donation, you can help us lay the groundwork and advance the mission of the OneAID community. Materials, subscriptions, and time together for reflection and rebuilding are valuable resources needed to do our work. Our volunteers have organized people and groups, hosted community network convenings, published updates and rigorous analysis, and connected various networks. Now is the time to further strengthen our commitment and our strategy for the long-term.

But we cannot do it without you. Please consider a gift today.

Fund the mission. Be the movement.
