A great report by Rocky Mountain Institute on the costs of running Tri-State (TS)--a generation and transmission co-op in the West owned by 43 co-ops in CO, NM, WY & NE--coal plants and how renewable energy bids costs would be lower cost than running most of TS's coal plants.
